What profile and level are you using? You need to use at least level 5.2 for UHD @ 60FPS. Presumably you're using high profile.

It matters until you have your college degree. Also, you better get your college degree from a reputable school people have heard of, which will be harder with a GED than good grades from HS. People don't see GED and think, "This guy was too smart for HS". They think HS dropout.
