Dropped my GTab in some water...

I'd probably focus on making sure it is bone dry before anything else 100F oven?. Also, just an FYI, even if you get it working the lifespan will be significantly reduced. There is corrosion happening in there.

    DD's new Video card.

Just one will do, but someone needs to make a water block for it first. The standard Titans in SLI will drive a tri-monitor setup at the office (3x Dell 30", total res 7860x1600) and this could handle the 4k 32" at home.

    Some work on my A3

Found a company called EnfigCarStereo.com out of New Jersey, they have a YouTube channel showing all kinds on installs for VAG cars. Sent them an e-mail and they got back to me in 10 minutes with a parts list that will do the job. Not including the head unit, but including all the other...

That is the same one I was fooling with a few months ago. I wouldn't call it a working 4k screen; it has too many cases where it just doesn't work @ 4k.

    Creepy games.

The first game that freaked me out was Half Life. I'd just started a job that got me to my apartment at 10PM and would play in a blacked out room until 2AM. And Doom3 earns an honorable mention. I just started with the new Thief, and if you want to win bad enough that can put you on edge as well.

Jobs with LOTS of spare time

I usually end up with 8 meetings a week, and 10-15 incidents that require an immediate response. The rest of my time is spent trying to keep up with unscheduled projects. Building replacement workstations, redesigning systems (vLANs, IP space, wireless networks, unique computing challenges, etc).

I really like the new F1 car sounds. They are much quieter than the old ones because of the turbo, and have a more complex character as well. During coverage of the race you can hear the crowd cheering and tires squealing along with the engine, turbo, etc.

1000 years of European boarder changes

What the people want is tricky because different people want different things. Asking the people what they want while surrounded by Russian troops seems unlikely to return a valid result. I'd recommend the vlogbrothers video on the topic as a quick overview.

In this case it is the fact the the hardware itself will barely run XP (512MB RAM, P4, IDE, paralel printers, etc). The price I gave them was for new everything. For a small business that is hanging onto viability, $10K is a large amount.

The motivation behind not thinking it is that big a deal is that many of these XP machines haven't been updated in years anyway and are still chugging along. If they are a year behind on updates and not dead, will it matter that much if the updates (which they wouldn't install anyway) don't...
