You'll find the 32"-42" TV's, like the Vizio SVT, and some Sonys, 120hz or better, have the best screens, 10 bit, IIRC around. MUCH better then the computer monitors, at least from my side by side comparisions, and, with many more inputs.

Panasonic does make the Semi-rugged line. Mine, the CF-51 was about 1300, with 1.25 gigs of ram, and 1400 with the SSD installed. Panasonic does an excellent job of making a solid, large laptop. I used it for teaching, hooking it up to a projector, etc...

Perfect for computers with Sata 1, or even two. Great price, 40 gigs is big enough for most boot drives, access time is king. Great way to breath life into a laptop, or older desktop.
