Yes. I crossed almost all of Montréal's island from South to North. And Google expect a walker to go at ~4.8Km/h, so I was not that slow.

That is quite fast for walking. How did you measure it?

I listen to something that is always 58.5 minutes long and I know how far I walk in that time.

Well I did above 5Mph for 3 hours. It was indeed uncomfortable at the end.

"Speed walking" seems to make a pretty big difference in terms what I'm able to eat and maintain my weight.

I don't know about speed walking but getting out there and walking for at least an hour almost every day is definitely made me feel better. I guess you can say it's a brisk pace but I certainly don't measure it.

How the hell do you break a debit card? Did you accidentally drop it on some kind of edged weapon? Was it frozen at the time? Were you half-stepping on it when you tried to pick it up?

No, no. Being the Cougtek is kind of like being Tekno Viking except the soundtrack is the theme from Conan the Barbarian and the chorus dancers are various sorts of angry mustelids.
It's pretty hard to miss that kind of thing.

Nope. It was in free-fall and I caught it in the palm of my hand, with one long edge below the thumb and the other long edge just below the fingers. It failed with very little force.
