    Best "universal laptop dock"?

I have a situation where three different people with three different makes and models of laptops (2 XP, 1 7) will be sharing a desk. I have limited experience with "universal laptop docks" that are basically USB hubs with integrated sound, NIC, and video. Anyone have a favorite? Tips? Other...

I have a client with only a few VMs and no full-time support staff. The boss' son is the best I have on site, and he is only familiar with Windows. I'm planning a machine that will be running 7 Pro with VMWare Workstation 9 hosting the production servers. This strikes me as the easiest way to...

    TecTiles/NFC tags

Here is the Samsung page for their TecTile product. I'm really digging this concept. One question I haven't been able to find the answer for is whether other NFC tags with writable space (like these) can be used for this purpose, or if the Samsung "TecTile" brand ones are required. There will...

    Motorola Admiral on Sprint

Just got one of these to test. What a piece of crap. Andoid 2.3.5 should not be the newest OS for any "current" phone. Much less the "top-of-the-line" with direct connect. It is, however, a step up from the 1.5 on my old phone. It even says it has 3G, though the performance over such isn't...
