The Y drive is disappearing occasionally for no reason. I don't find the cable pro and the SSD is not showing any SMART drive errors. The temp has always been displayed as 128°C, but I assume that is a reporting error as it is running cool.

There is normally an option dialog to close all IE tabs when closing the program. Somehow I accidentally chose close all at some point, but do not want to every time. Sorry for being so dense, but how can that be returned to the default where only one tab closes? Thanks.

I am going through some piles of old hard drives and I found half a dozen or so 2TB drives of various types. One drive, a Samsung 204UI, is rather odd. The drive seems normal, but there is a major SMART error. Can this be caused by a one-time event years ago or will it fail?

The display on the laptop does not work unless the computer has booted in Windows. However, that is not good as there is no way to select boot device, otherwise access the BIOS, or to use amy utilities. Is this just some Windows bullsh*t or a crappy BIOS support?
